Meet Chris Rogers, THIPA’s New Senior Vice President

Chris RogersChris Rogers brings 30 years of experience as a healthcare leader to his new role as Senior Vice President of THIPA. His background includes leading and directing hospital / physician programs. Prior to joining THIPA, Chris worked for Sutter Health in Northern California where he served in two different roles - Vice President for Integrated Physician Services and Chief Operations Officer for Sutter Pacific Medical Foundation.

“I’m excited to be a part of the Torrance Memorial Health System team. Unlike organizations that I’ve worked with in the past, Torrance Memorial is a freestanding hospital/ health system with a community oriented leadership and staff. The result is an organization that is connected to the community. I think this translates into a higher level of service for our members.”

“THIPA has a great team of people who have created some remarkable programs that especially benefit our seniors,” says Chris. “We have a very committed team of nurses and social workers who work together with THIPA doctors to coordinate care for our members, especially for members with complex health conditions. As a result, our senior members are able to stay healthier, more independent and live at home longer.”

“I worry about my own parents, who are getting older now and will need help navigating the complexities of our health care system,” he explains. “I would feel very good about trusting THIPA to help my parents with their health care.”

Chris has been married to his wife Kelly for 28 years and has three grown sons. He and his wife, a former radiology technician, enjoy spending their free time on the golf course.
